Calamari Productions, LLC made history in the 1990s when it became the first television production company permitted to shoot video of juvenile welfare proceedings, which is sensitive and typically shielded from the public. Prior to Calamari Productions the lack of multimedia content in this field made it difficult for students to get real-life experience prior to entering the field.
IJCCR was the result of an exclusive partnership formed between Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation (IURTC) and Calamari Productions, LLC in late 2010 to develop this growing material archive for research and educational purposes. IURTC is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that provides services to Indiana University. IURTC’s relationship with IU and extensive experience in contract management provides the unique background necessary for proper management and distribution of this sensitive proprietary material.
